Are you quite anxious,clueless, or unprepared about studying at home too?In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic,majority of schools are enforcing its students voluntary or mandatory to study in their respective homes. Which means many of them are dealing with the unusual challenge: studying at home for the first time or on your own. This compilation will surely help you in coping up with some of the struggles that an student like me are facing during my studies in this time of pandemic. Here are some of the helpful tips to make sure that you will finish your modules on time and to avoid getting stress aswell.

•Wear your uniform

You might find this odd but this is honestly the most important one.I spent about 3 months studying at home and everyday I am always tempted to wear loose clothes which i found unproductive overall.

You don’t need to dress as formally as you are in school, but by simply wearing your uniform or maybe a white dress will serve as your signal that it’s time to get up and start answering your modules. This will also give you a “students vibes” that will surely help you to be more confident and serious during the class.

•Don’t Rely Your Answers On Google

I know its challenging for us students to study on our own without the guide of our teachers but we got to try.We won’t learn or grow by copying all the answers on Google. We should atleast put some effort and invest some of our time studying.

•Customize Your Own Study Place

Set up an area in your house to use as a study place. Sitting here will send a clear signal to your brain that its time to study. Stay away from your study place if you are not studying. Once you have done studying keep your modules organized and clean up the place as you will use it again on the next day.

• Create Your Own Schedule

Make your own schedule and stick into it. Having clear schedule will help you to keep track on your tasks whether when will you do it or when will you call it a day. They can also help you figure out what times of day you’re most productive versus when you slack off. You can use that information to your advantage by reserving your hours of high focus for your most important tasks.

•Focus

During your chosen study times, focus. The more focused and dedicated you are, the more effective your study time will be. If you go over your allotted time, great! Your hyper-focus helped you to study hard and prepare even more than you’d planned. If you’re finding it difficult to focus, take a short break to stretch, breathe or enjoy some refreshments.

•Keep reading

Whether you’re reading for pleasure or for reference, keep at it. Reading has been proven to help with vocabulary, grammar and comprehension on standardised tests. It will also help to stimulate your mind in your downtime.

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
